Economy Summer 2020

The economy took a big hit due to COVID-19 and left many people out of work. Unemployment benefits were boosted and the direct stimulus payments helped. However, the unemployment bonus will be ending soon and there are still tens of millions unemployed across the country who will not be getting a job back anytime soon. No matter your political leaning, this is a good reminder for everyone that the government cannot support us all. We need to help each other out during these hard times.
